Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales represents the nation’s premier multifamily owners, developers, and operators with the highest level of investment advisory service. Since 2003, the WDIS experts have built a reputation as a market leader in multifamily investment sales and have completed nearly $71B in property sales volume since 2021, including over $13B in 2025. We work with institutional and private clients, and we are active in seniors housing & healthcare, student housing, and land sales across the country.

The Impact You Will HaveÂ
The primary role of the Analyst position will be to assist in the creation and dissemination of Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales marketing materials for investment-grade multifamily properties throughout their Region. The position will report to the Managing Director as well as other senior officers within the company.Â

Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ
Financial analysis of multifamily opportunities, including existing, value add, and ground-up developments using proprietary WDIS underwriting modelÂ
Actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of W&D Investment Sales marketing offering memorandums (OMs) and Broker Opinion of Values (BOVs)
Research and maintain databases which track Investment Sales activity, construction pipeline, and other relevant real estate metricsÂ
Develop and maintain market knowledge through regular reading of industry trade journals, economic forecasts, and news-related periodicalsÂ
Assist in the creation and editing of “state of the market” presentations given at national conferences and in private client meetingsÂ
Maintain files to ensure all mandatory disclosures are completed and sent to the appropriate parties for review and approvalÂ
Provide a consistent, quality-controlled system to ensure the smooth and efficient management of all relevant steps necessary to close a dealÂ
Monitor and assess the progress of sales so that important deadlines are met and contingencies are releasedÂ
Provide preliminary audits of files for management reviewÂ
Perform other duties asassignedÂ
Attendance is generally required from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Monday through Friday
Education and ExperienceÂ
Bachelor’s degree (Finance and/or Real Estate concentration preferred)Â
1+ year of experience in Finance, Real Estate or related field preferredÂ

Client relationship management skillsÂ
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skillsÂ
Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situationsÂ
Ability and willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines when appropriateÂ
Excellent financial modeling skills including thorough knowledge of ExcelÂ
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Word, and ability to learn Salesforce and other company software as neededÂ
Advanced written and oral communication skillsÂ
Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning newprocessesÂ
