Electrician

JOBSUMMARY

The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and performing routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong knowledge of electrical codes, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. Previous experience in electrical work and relevant certifications are required.

ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES

• Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures inbuildings.
• Prepare for, hook up, maintain, and disconnect show power as required.
• Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires andcables.
• Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.
• Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring tothem.
• Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation andoperation.
• Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs areneeded.
• Replaces conduit and wiring asneeded.
• Replaces circuit breakers asneeded.
• Performs other related duties asassigned.
• Assist, as required, other skilled trades in a variety of maintenancerepairs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Journeyman's License preferred.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment background checkscreening.
• State of Florida driver’s license and clean drivingrecord.
• Five (5) years electrician experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of National ElectricCode< >Strong mechanical understanding ofequipment.
• Ability to decipher problems and remedysame.
• Ability to read and decipher blueprints, schematics and working equipmentdocuments.
• Ability to work both independently and in team-orientedenvironments.
• Detail oriented w/ excellent organizational skills.

WORKINGCONDITIONS

• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climbstairs.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the Englishlanguage.
• Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/orpeople.
• Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.
• Ability to work in loudenvironments.
• Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, andholidays.
• Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoortemperatures.
• Must be able to climb ladders, kneel, bend, stoop, and squat without any physical movementrestriction.
• Must be able to work comfortably at high heights using man lifts, truss, ladders, andcatwalks.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to50lbs
