The Opportunity

SecondMuse is seeking a Country Consortium Coordinator to support a new multi-partner initiative focused on the responsible use of digital and AI-enabled tools to strengthen primary and community healthcare. Based in Malawi, the role will provide dedicated in-country coordination and implementation support, helping maintain effective working relationships with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders, supporting implementing partners to work effectively within government systems, and ensuring timely follow-through on agreed activities.

This is primarily an in-country coordination and facilitation role rather than a technical AI role. The successful candidate should understand the health system, be comfortable working with government and development partners, and be able to coordinate effectively across different stakeholders. Specialist AI expertise is not required; knowledge and familiarity with digital health is strongly desirable.

We are looking for a capable, credible, and collaborative professional who understands the health sector in Malawi and can work effectively across government, development partners and implementing organizations. We value demonstrated experience, reliability, communication skills, and practical judgment more than senior titles or highly specialized technical credentials.

The incumbent will report to the Sr. Project and Team Lead. You will work as part of a small, distributed program team and alongside colleagues supporting other countries.
