Accounting Manager

Why this role exists

Revive is scaling fast, and finance has to scale with the business—not behind it. We grew from approximately $50M last year and are on pace for approximately $100M this year, which means the complexity, volume, and importance of our accounting operation is increasing quickly. We need someone who can bring rigor to the numbers while also helping us build the systems, workflows, and automation that will support the next stage of growth.

This role is for an accounting leader who wants to be in the middle of the business, not sitting on the sidelines closing the books. You’ll work across Finance, Operations, Product, and Engineering to improve how financial data moves through Revive, strengthen controls, automate repetitive work, and give leadership better visibility into the business. We want someone technically strong, high-energy, resourceful, and AI-native—someone who can run clean accounting today while helping design a smarter finance function for tomorrow.

What you will do

• Own Revive's core accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close, and disciplined financial controls across the business
• Maintain the integrity of the Company's financial records, including the general ledger, reconciliations, intercompany activity, and accounting documentation
• Partner with leadership to provide accurate financial reporting and insights that support operational and strategic decision-making
• Design, improve, and standardize accounting processes, controls, and workflows that allow the finance organization to scale with the business
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to improve financial systems, reporting infrastructure, integrations, and workflow automation
• Leverage AI and modern finance technologies to automate repetitive work, improve accuracy, accelerate financial processes, and increase operational efficiency
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, banking partners, and other financial service providers
• Exercise independent judgment in researching, resolving, and documenting complex accounting matters while continuously identifying opportunities to strengthen Revive's financial operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience owning month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Experience improving accounting processes, controls, or financial systems
• Proficiency with modern accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting tools
• Experience working with AI, automation, or technology-enabled accounting workflows strongly preferred
• CPA preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in a high-growth, technology, real estate, construction, or transaction-intensive business preferred
