Position: Test Automation Engineer

Experience: 4 -8 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and C#.
• Create, review, and executedetailed test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform comprehensivemanual testing for new features, exploratory testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.
• Develop and execute automated test suites for UI, API, and end-to-end workflows.
• ConductPerformance Testing,Security Testing, and Non-Functional Testing activities.
• Validate application functionality across web applications, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide early quality feedback during design and development phases.
• Generate daily, weekly, and release-levelstatus reports, quality metrics, defect trends, and test execution summaries.

Required Skills

Testing & Quality Engineering

• Strong experience inTest Automation using Playwright.
• Strong expertise inTest Case Design, Test Planning, Test Strategy creation, and Test Execution.
• Hands-on experience inManual Testing including Functional, Integration, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing.
• Experience inAPI Testing using Postman, Swagger, Playwright, or similar tools.
• Experience inUI Testing of web applications.
• Experience inPerformance Testing tools such as JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
• Experience inSecurity Testing, OWASP guidelines, vulnerability assessment, and security validation.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar.

Programming & Automation

• Strong programming skills inC#/.NET.
• Experience with automation frameworks, design patterns, and reusable test architecture.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Database

• Hands-on experience withPostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL querying and database validation skills.

Cloud & DevOps

• Working knowledge ofAzure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices testing.

AI & Modern Engineering

• Good understanding ofGenerative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, and AI-assisted development.
• Experience usingGitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI tools.
• Exposure toVibe Coding and leveraging AI to accelerate test automation development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building Playwright frameworks from scratch.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing solutions and self-healing automation.
• Experience testing cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prepare and present management-level status reports.
• Strong collaboration skills and ownership mindset.
• Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and drive quality best practices.
