What Will You Do?

• Performend-to-end Verification and Validation (V&V) activities across the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, test design, execution, and automation.

• Analyze system and software requirements toderive comprehensive test specifications and verification criteria, with a focus onPassive Safety systems.

• Design, develop, and executemanual and automated test cases using industry-standard test design techniques.

• Develop and maintaintest automation frameworks and scripts using CAPL, Python, or Java.

• Execute communication and diagnostic testing usingCAN, CAN-FD, CANTP, and UDS protocols.

• Perform ECU-level testing usingVector tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANStress.

• Prepare, review, and maintaintest artifacts including test plans, test reports, traceability matrices, and review documentation.

• Conductembedded and hardware-in-the-loop testing, utilizing lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, and function generators.

• Ensure safe hardware handling practices, includingESD compliance.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to supportdefect analysis, debugging, and resolution.

• Provide accurate task estimates andregular progress updates to the Test Lead to support project planning and tracking.

• Identify opportunities forprocess, product, and infrastructure improvements and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Share insights, technical observations, and best practices during team discussions, fostering a strongcollaborative and quality-driven culture.

• Adapt to changing project requirements and supportshift or overlap working hours when required.

What Will You Bring?

• Experience

  • 4–8 years of hands-on experience inAutomotive Software Verification & Validation.

• Strong understanding ofsoftware testing methodologies and test case design techniques.

• Solid working knowledge ofautomotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, CANTP, and UDS.

• Proven experience inautomation scripting using CAPL, Python, or Java.

• Hands-on experience withVector tools: CANalyzer, CANoe, CANStress.

• Experience inembedded testing of automotive ECUs; exposure toPassive Safety / Airbag systems is a strong advantage.

• Goodprogramming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Working knowledge ofASPICE and/or CMMI processes.

• Experience withRequirements Management tools such as DOORS and CodeBeamer.

• Experience withSource and Issue Management tools like PTC and CodeBeamer.

• Familiarity withhardware testing environments, lab equipment, and ESD handling practices.

• Aself-driven, proactive learner with strong ownership and accountability.

• Excellent team player with a consistent focus onquality, timelines, and deliverables.

• Willingness to take on technical challenges and adapt to evolving business and project needs.
