Senior Product Manager, Insurance

Forbes Advisor is building something new, and we’re looking for a best-in-class Senior Product Manager to help shape it. This hands-on role will own one of our Owned & Operated Insurance propositions, taking end-to-end ownership of the full customer lifecycle – whether that means launching a brand-new product or growing an established one. 

These propositions span products we build and own end-to-end, solutions delivered with specialist partners, and networks we service directly.

You’ll bring the proposition to life alongside Engineering, Design, Data and Commercial and our third-party partners – turning business models and commercials into a roadmap that delivers real customer value, launching new propositions and growing those already in-life.

The person we’re looking for is a genuine all-rounder – technical enough to get into partner APIs, commercially sharp, and just as comfortable optimizing the funnel and engaging users. You’re a self-starter and an exemplary communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and reliably delivers what matters most.

Responsibilities:

Proposition, Commercials & Strategy

• Own the strategy, roadmap and commercial performance for your propositions, balancing user needs, partner economics and business goals.

• Take a product from 0-to-1, or grow and optimize one already in-life – owning it end-to-end.

Full Customer Lifecycle & Engagement

• Keep customer value at the heart of every decision – define what great looks like for customers and measure the value your propositions deliver.

• Own the end-to-end customer journey – acquisition, onboarding, in-life engagement and retention – removing friction at every stage.

• Optimize the funnel and design engagement and retention strategies that grow customer value, working with our Optimization team to test assumptions through experimentation and discovery.

Requirements & Delivery

• Translate the proposition, commercials and partner arrangements into clear requirements for Engineering, including partner APIs and integrations.

• Own a prioritized backlog and work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, Data and Commercial to deliver from concept to launch and beyond.

Data, Tracking & Downstream Services

• Understand wider functions and products – including tracking, data, CRM and acquisition marketing – well enough to inform your approach and requirements.

• Ensure the right tracking and data are in place, then track performance and drive iterative improvements post-launch.

Stakeholder Communication

• Build and nurture strong relationships with our third-party partners, acting as the day-to-day product interface and keeping delivery on track.

• Act as the central point of communication for your product area, keeping senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams aligned on shared outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years in product management, with a track record of delivering high-impact products end-to-end.

• Experience in Insurance or a comparable regulated vertical, and comfortable with its regulatory, commercial and partner dynamics.

• Proven at building products from 0-to-1, growing in-life propositions, or both.

• A genuine all-rounder – technical enough for partner APIs, commercially sharp, and able to optimize the funnel and engage users.

• Exemplary communication and stakeholder skills, with a proven ability to work well with third-party partners.

• Data-driven, curious and proactive – happy to be hands-on in a fast-moving, expanding team.
