Senior Data Scientist

We are seeking aSenior Data Scientist with expertise in classical Machine Learning and tangible production experience in one or more domains, including NLP (Natural Language Processing), CV (Computer Vision), Time Series, MLE/MLOps (Machine Learning Engineering/Operationalization), and Recommendation Systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with EPAM's clients and internal stakeholders to design and deploy AI/ML-driven solutions
• Propose actionable strategies to address complex business challenges
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to deliver measurable outcomes for clients
• Maintain familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Requirements

• 5+ years of demonstrable production experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
• Expertise in Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Proficiency in the Python ecosystem and associated data science libraries (pandas, sklearn, NumPy)
• Expert knowledge of at least one domain: Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning Engineering, Computer Vision, Time Series, or Recommendation Systems
• Strong communication and presentation abilities suited for conveying advanced technical ideas to non-technical audiences
• B2+ proficiency in English, both verbal and written

Nice to have

• Knowledge of a Cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
