Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for aSenior Data Scientist to deliver impactful AI solutions using statistics, machine learning, and NLP across real-world constraints. You will own work end-to-end from data prep through deployment, partnering with cross-functional teams to ship scalable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI solutions including classification, clustering, anomaly detection, and NLP
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems
• Write production-ready code and conduct data analysis using Python and SQL
• Design model development workflows and implement feature engineering methods
• Leverage Azure AI Search to improve business access to data and models
• Collaborate with developers and project managers while using GitLab and Jira
• Enhance data pipelines and optimize model performance for real-world use cases
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to audiences with different levels of expertise
• Apply emerging technologies to project work and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Contribute to Agile workflows and handle UNIX command line tasks as needed

Requirements

• Proven track record with 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science
• Deep understanding of statistical data analysis, machine learning, and NLP with practical trade-offs in mind
• Hands-on experience with Python programming and SQL, including data analysis libraries used in practice
• Solid background in AI solution development such as classification, clustering, or NLP
• Working knowledge of ML Ops and feature engineering approaches for model workflows
• Practical ability to use Azure AI Search to deliver business-oriented model access
• Strong familiarity with software development methodologies and version control tools like GitLab
• Experience with project tracking tools like Jira and Agile workflows
• Comfort with UNIX command line usage and applying innovative technology solutions
• B2 level of English (Upper-Intermediate) or higher with strong technical communication ability

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Big Data tools, and containerization solutions
• Ability to use data visualization tools to present insights clearly
