JOB OVERVIEWÂ
The Paymaster is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and confidential processing of employee payroll. This includes calculating salaries, wages, overtime, and deductions in compliance with company policies and Saudi labor laws. The role also maintains payroll records, resolves discrepancies, and works closely with HR and Finance to ensure proper payment of employees and adherence to statutory requirements.Â

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on timeÂ
Calculate salaries, wages, overtime, allowances, and deductions in line with company policies and labor lawsÂ
Maintain and update employee payroll records and personal dataÂ
Ensure compliance with Saudi labor regulations, including GOSI, tax, and end-of-service benefitsÂ
Verify attendance, timesheets, and leave records before payroll processingÂ
Handle payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and employee queriesÂ
Prepare payroll reports for Finance and Management reviewÂ
Coordinate with HR regarding new hires, terminations, and salary changesÂ
Process final settlements for resigned or terminated employeesÂ
Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll informationÂ
Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledgerÂ
Support audits by providing payroll records and documentationÂ
Manage bank transfer instructions for salary paymentsÂ
Ensure accurate deduction and payment of statutory contributionsÂ
Assist in implementing payroll systems and process improvementsÂ
Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policiesÂ
Liaise with external authorities when required for payroll-related mattersÂ

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fieldÂ
Diploma in Payroll, Accounting, or Human Resources is an advantageÂ
2–5+ years of experience in payroll or compensation administration, preferably in hospitality or large organizationsÂ
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and statutory requirements in Saudi ArabiaÂ
Understanding of GOSI, end-of-service benefits, and payroll complianceÂ
Experience with payroll/HR systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar platformsÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for payroll calculations and reportingÂ
