Collections Specialist – Temp to Hire

Location: Greenville, SC
Pay: Up to $20/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hybrid: Remote Monday & Friday | In-office Tuesday–Thursday
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Specialist with Accounts Receivable experience to manage customer accounts, resolve payment issues, and support collection efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and hands-on SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable portfolios and prioritize collection activities.

• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and payment resolutions.

• Research and resolve billing disputes, short payments, chargebacks, and credit issues.

• Perform account reconciliations, process credit memos, and review aging reports.

• Maintain accurate collection records and provide account status updates.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience required.

• SAP Accounts Receivable experience required.

• 1+ year of credit or collections experience preferred.

• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
