Duration: 2 - 4 MonthsInternship Type: Undergraduate As a Collaboration Platform Engineer intern, you will get the opportunity to design, build, and/or improve a range of enterprise communication and collaboration technologies. You will work closely under the guidance of a mentor to deliver your proof-of-concept or prototype (if required) that will transform how employees use technologies to collaborate at work.  If you’re passionate about harnessing technology to transform the way employees work together, we would love to hear from you.

Broad Deliverables

  • Design & build a proof-of-concept or prototype intelligent communication and collaboration services that can be readily deployed
  • Apply modern software and security engineering practices, ensuring platform reliability through SRE principles
  • Document the findings of various technologies explored, and present to management and users on your system

Possible Projects*

  • Engineer scalable and secure collaboration platforms (chat, conferencing, file share, workflow automation) to ensure high performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Apply DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD) to automate deployments and workflows, improving efficiency, product quality and on-boarding speed.
  • Build analytics pipelines and observability dashboards to monitor the platform health, applying SRE principles to improve uptime and responsiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance the collaboration experience, drive feature enhancements, and explore emerging technologies like AI and automation

Prerequisites/Skills Required

  • Proficient with programming languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and exposure to DevOps/SRE practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to explore new tools.
