Our Client is an early-stage startup building a product designed to solve a meaningful problem in the human resources (HR) technology industry. Their goal is to build a scalable product that delivers real value to users while moving quickly and learning from the market.

We are looking for aTechnical Co-Founder / CTO to join the founding team and take ownership of the product’s technical vision, architecture, and development.

This is afounding role with significant equity and the opportunity to shape the company from the ground up.

Role Overview

The CTO / Technical Co-Founder will be responsible fordesigning, building, and scaling the technology platform that powers the business.

You will work closely with the founder to transform the product vision into a working platform, launch the MVP, iterate based on user feedback, and build a scalable technology organization over time.

This role requires someone who is bothhands-on technically and capable of long-term technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Design and build theMVP and core product platform

• Translate product vision into technical architecture and implementation

• Make key decisions aroundtechnology stack, infrastructure, and scalability

• Build rapid prototypes and iterate quickly

Technical Leadership

• Own thetechnical roadmap and system architecture

• Ensure the platform issecure, scalable, and reliable

• Establish development standards, workflows, and engineering best practices

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Startup Execution

• Collaborate closely with the founder onproduct strategy and roadmap

• Prioritize features based onmarket feedback and business goals

• Balance speed of development with long-term technical sustainability

Team Building

• Recruit and lead future engineering hires

• Establish a strong engineering culture

• Mentor developers and scale the engineering team over time

Ideal Background

• 8+ years of software engineering experience

• Experience buildingproducts from 0 → 1

• Strong full-stack engineering capability

• Experience withcloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure/Vercel)

• Experience designingscalable architectures and APIs

• Familiarity withmodern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Next, etc.)

• Strongbackend development experience (Node, Python, etc.)

• Experience withdatabases, system design, and distributed systems

• Prior startup experience preferred
