In addition, you work with engineers to push the boundaries of machining technologies and develop better methods, tools, and programming practices aimed at reducing die costs and lead times while improving final quality.Â
What You’ll Do
- Program 5-axis CNC Mills in a low-volume / high-mix workflow
- Prepare operator documents and prove out programs on the floor with machinists
- Work closely with engineers to provide crucial input on design for manufacturabilityÂ
- Machine complex components to tight tolerances in various materials with tight deadlinesÂ
- Use various inspection and measurement tools to validate your work
- Tracking and documentation of machining processes and results when necessaryÂ
- Provide feedback to engineers, other machinists and programmers on design and process improvement Â
