ResponsibilitiesÂ
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Tebis, PowerMill, Siemens NX CAM, Mastercam, or similar CAM software.
Select tooling, holders, workholding, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies based on material, tolerances, part geometry, finish requirements, and machine capability.
Independently set up, prove out, and complete CNC milling jobs, including fixtures, tooling, offsets, program loading, first-piece verification, and in-process inspection.
Program and support roughing, finishing, drilling, contouring, pocketing, and 3-axis or 5-axis machining operations.
Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines as workload and job complexity allow.
Troubleshoot programming, tooling, fixture, machine-operation, and quality issues; make approved adjustments and escalate concerns as needed.
Use heat-shrink tooling equipment and maintain tools, fixtures, machines, and a clean work area.
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, GD&T, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
