Product Analyst – Enterprise CMS (Digital Commerce Focus)

Work Arrangement
Remote (EST and CST time zones only)

Compensation
Base salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (total compensation)

Position Summary
We are seeking aSenior Product Analyst with deep, hands-on CMS experience to support a large-scale digital commerce initiative. This role requires a strong blend ofproduct analysis, content platform ownership, and retail digital experience expertise. The ideal candidate has worked directly withinenterprise CMS environments, ownscontent models and workflows, and partners closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver scalable digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

CMS Product Ownership (Core Focus)
  • Own and driveCMS-related product requirements across a digital commerce ecosystem
  • Define and maintaincontent models, templates, taxonomies, and metadata structures
  • Design and optimizepublishing workflows and content lifecycle processes
  • SupportCMS implementation, migration, or enhancement initiatives within enterprise environments
  • Ensure CMS capabilities align withmulti-brand, multi-channel digital strategies

Product & Business Analysis
  • Translate business needs intodetailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Leadrequirements gathering sessions, stakeholder workshops, and discovery efforts
  • Drivebacklog refinement, prioritization, and feature definition in Agile environments
  • Performcurrent-state and future-state analysis to identify platform and process improvements

Digital Commerce & Platform Integration
  • Work withinretail / ecommerce digital ecosystems, supporting customer-facing platforms
  • Partner with engineering teams onAPI integrations and platform architecture alignment
  • Ensure CMS integrates effectively withcommerce platforms, personalization tools, and analytics systems

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as thebridge between business, product, marketing, UX, and engineering teams
  • Align stakeholders onrequirements, priorities, and delivery outcomes
  • Clearly communicateproduct decisions, tradeoffs, and recommendations

Delivery & Execution
  • Supportend-to-end product delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment between requirements and implementation
  • Maintain high-qualitydocumentation, workflows, and requirement traceability
  • Contribute toCMS roadmap planning and capability evolution

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Analyst / Business Analyst indigital product environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (not just exposure)
  • Demonstrated experience inretail, ecommerce, or digital commerce environments
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Content modeling
    • Taxonomy and metadata
    • Templates and structured content
    • Publishing workflows and content lifecycle
  • Proven experience writing:
    • User stories
    • Functional requirements
    • Acceptance criteria
  • Experience working with:
    • API-driven architectures and integrations
    • Agile / Scrum methodologies
    • Tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strongstakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience withAEM, Optimizely, Sitecore, or similar enterprise CMS platforms
  • Background supportingCMS migrations or large-scale implementations
  • Experience inmulti-brand, multi-site digital environments
  • Familiarity with:
    • Digital merchandising
    • Personalization tools
    • Marketing technology stacks
  • Consulting or client-facing experience in complex enterprise environments
