Planner

Do you want to influence how our district grows and develops for future generations? We’re looking for a detail orientated and efficient Planner to join our Planning Team in ourRegulatory Services Department.

In this role, you will:

• Review, process and monitor resource consent applications.
• Assist with the processing of building consent and land information memorandum applications related to planning matters.
• Monitor and respond to compliance and planning related queries.
• Foster meaningful relationships across Council and with community stakeholders.
• Be part of an inclusive team environment to help deliver growth minded planning services for the Clutha District.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Level 7 Degree in planning/resource management or other relevant tertiary qualification
• Can interpret, analyse and present information to explain technical information clearly to customers and stakeholders
• Enjoys working as part of a team and capable of working independently
• Is committed to providing high-quality customer service in response to enquires
