Position Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Cloud Network Engineer with strong Azure infrastructure and networking experience to support day-to-day cloud operations in an Azure-first environment. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage cloud networking tasks, and support Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using Terraform.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong experience withMicrosoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise withTerraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Deep understanding ofAzure Networking, including:
- VNets & Subnets
- Network Security Groups (NSGs)
- User-Defined Routes (UDRs)
- Private Endpoints
- Solid networking fundamentals includingBGP, routing, andHub-and-Spoke architecture.
- Experience withCI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, manage, and implement cloud solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure toAzure Databricks,Azure Functions, and other Azure services.
- Familiarity withJSON and basic scripting/coding concepts.
- Experience withGCP as a secondary cloud platform.
- Knowledge ofAzure Virtual WAN (vWAN) is a plus.
Candidate Profile:
Looking for a self-sufficient Cloud Engineer with 8-10 years of experience who has worked extensively with Azure networking and Terraform-managed environments and can quickly contribute with minimal supervision.
