Job Overview

We are seeking an experiencedCloud Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team focused onAzure Cloud infrastructure, automation, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab/GitLab Runners, Azure DevOps, and Azure networking. This role will be responsible for building and automating cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting platform issues, supporting application teams, and implementing infrastructure-as-code solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure usingTerraform and Azure DevOps.

• Develop and maintainInfrastructure-as-Code (IaC) pipelines using GitLab and GitLab Runners.

• Work with application teams to understand infrastructure requirements and implement appropriate Azure solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Azure platform and infrastructure issues in development and production environments.

• Convert existing Azure DevOps pipelines intoTerraform-based IaC pipelines.

• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure services including:

  • Azure Virtual Networks (VNETs)

  • Route Tables

  • Network Security Groups (NSGs)

  • Azure Data Factory

  • Azure Storage

  • Azure Key Vault (AKV)

  • Microsoft Purview

  • Azure Subscriptions

  • Application services

• Deploy and troubleshootAzure Windows/Linux VMs, VM Scale Sets, and Load Balancers.

• Deploy and supportAzure App Services, Function Apps, and Automation Accounts.

• Build custom Azure VM images usingPacker.

• UseAnsible for infrastructure automation and configuration management.

• Participate in production support and troubleshoot platform-related issues.

• Support weekly releases, including occasional non-business-hours support.

• Create and manageJira tasks and ServiceNow change requests as required.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cloud infrastructure automation and reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure.

• Strong experience withTerraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Hands-on experience withAnsible.

• Experience withGitLab and GitLab Runners.

• Experience withAzure DevOps (ADO) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding ofAzure networking concepts, including VNETs, NSGs, Route Tables, and Load Balancers.

• Experience deploying and troubleshootingAzure VMs and other Azure infrastructure services.

• Experience with Azure infrastructure automation and troubleshooting.

• Experience withITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.

• Strong understanding of Azure services and cloud automation.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud experience.

• Python scripting.

• HashiCorp technologies.

• Azure certifications.

• HashiCorp Terraform certification.
