Core Role Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC templates using Terraform (HCL) and AWS CloudFormation. [1]
- Cloud Architecture & Landing Zones: Design, support, and govern multi-account cloud environments, AWS Landing Zones, and AWS Control Tower. [1,2]
- Automation & Scripting: Build repeatable automation, tooling, and operational workflows using Python, Ansible, and serverless tech like AWS Lambda. [1,2,3]
- CI/CD & DevOps: Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines via GitHub and GitHub Actions. [1,2]
- Governance & Security: Manage IAM, security controls, compliance frameworks (such as FedRAMP or NIST), and operational standards. [1,2]
- Client Engagement: Participate in customer design workshops, create technical documentation/runbooks, and collaborate with sales and architecture teams. [1,2]
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent, combined with 5 to 10+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud engineering experience (including enterprise consulting). [1,2]
- Technical Skills:
- Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Scripting & configuration (Python, Ansible)
- Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, VCF) [1,2,3,4,5]
- Certifications: Cloud-native, security, or automation certifications (e.g., AWS, HashiCorp, Kubernetes/CKA, VMware) are strongly preferred. [1]
