Role Overview
Seeking a seniorCloud/Azure Architect to design secure, scalable, resilient enterprise cloud and hybrid-cloud environments, with particular emphasis on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Azure and hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Develop cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and optimization strategies.
- Design landing zones, subscriptions, networking, identity, security, governance, monitoring, and resiliency.
- Define cloud architecture standards and reusable patterns.
- Architect IaaS, PaaS, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, and cloud-native solutions.
- Support application and data migrations to Azure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation approaches.
- Design HA/DR and business-continuity architectures.
- Establish FinOps and cloud cost-optimization practices.
- Integrate Azure with on-premises and third-party environments.
- Work with cybersecurity teams on Zero Trust and cloud security controls.
Mandatory Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of infrastructure/cloud experience.
- 5+ years designing enterprise cloud solutions.
- Deep Microsoft Azure expertise.
- Azure networking, identity, compute, storage, security, monitoring, and governance.
- Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Cloud migration/modernization experience.
- Enterprise hybrid-cloud experience.
Highly Preferred
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Azure Administrator/DevOps/Security certifications.
- Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Azure DevOps/GitHub.
- Entra ID.
- Azure Policy/Defender/Monitor.
- FinOps experience.
- AWS or GCP secondary expertise.
