We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Clinical Workflow Specialist in the government healthcare sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the optimization of clinical workflows and enhancing patient safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of Emergency Department workflows, processes, and clinical operations.
- Strong knowledge of nursing workflows, clinical documentation, and care delivery processes.
- Hands-on experience designing, configuring, or optimizing Oracle Health clinical workflows.
- Experience with barcode-enabled medication administration, patient identification, specimen collection, or other clinical safety processes.
- Ability to support clinical adoption, workflow adherence, compliance, and change management.
- Experience identifying workflow gaps and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, usability, and patient safety.
- Prior work experience in the government or healthcare industry.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Oracle Health / EHR implementation experience within Emergency Department and nursing environments.
- Clinical workflow optimization and adoption experience in large healthcare organizations.
- Barcode-based clinical safety solutions and related compliance/process improvement experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize Emergency Department and nursing workflows within Oracle Health.
- Assess current clinical processes and identify opportunities for workflow improvement.
- Design and support Oracle Health workflows aligned with clinical and operational requirements.
- Evaluate barcode-enabled patient safety processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, operations, and IT teams to validate workflow requirements.
- Support clinical adoption and ensure workflows are practical, compliant, and aligned with patient-safety objectives.
- Identify workflow gaps, recommend enhancements, and support implementation and optimization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to standardize workflows, processes, and system capabilities.
