We are hiring aClinical Psychologist - TRAVEL to join our team of talented professionals who travel around the U.S. to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams. This is a great opportunity to support our veterans while being able to manage a flexible travel schedule.

• Employment:Part Time, Travel to Mobile unit
• Travel through out the US (Travel time, work time, hotel, rental car, and airfare are included).
• Competitive compensation: Paid by-weekly, hourly rate $60.00.
• Schedule: Practitioners’ availability monthly, (2+ weeks per month), the traveler isn’t required to be available all 30 days of the month. Mobile Unit hours 8:00am-4:00pm.

Requirements:TheClinical Psychologist must have and meet the following:

• Requirement Qualifications:
  • Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States.
  • Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or must have completed a 2-year residency with either specialty
  • Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (or a combination of these). Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable.
  • Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.
• Certification:Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care.
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using EMR and platforms.
  • Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making.
  • Works independently and can manage time in order to provide a quality service while meeting set deadlines.
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in clinical settings
  • Prior VA or C&P experience

Job Summary:

• Review pertinent mental health history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans.
• The Clinical Psychologist will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
• Common reasons for assessment are PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
