Title: Clinical Psychologist Interns 2027

Position Purpose and ObjectivesÂ
To provide high quality, best practice, evidence-informed and culturally safe assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients of WellSouth or affiliated GP practices, or providers.
Â
To actively work within an integrated âStepped Model of Careâ that supports clientsâ needs and enables them to move between the right services.
Â
To undertake all relevant clinician activities to successfully fulfil learning objectives of the internship, under the guidance of Clinical Psychologist Supervisors.Â

POSITION OBJECTIVES
  This will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, but is likely to include:
- Delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments.
- Actively engaging in continuously improving care for clients.
- Actively engaging with relevant organisational service delivery teams.
- Being a professionally proficient and accountable clinician.

Your Qualifications
- Enrolled in a recognised Training institution (Clinical Psychology, or General Scope Psychology).
- Registration as an Intern Psychologist with the NZ Psychologistâs Board.
- Full driversâ licence.
- Legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Complies with the requirements under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
