We are seeking an established professional to support the development of consumer
apps that focus on health, fitness, and overall wellbeing. This role partners closely with
subject matter experts to define product requirements, serves as the central node in
collaborating with design and engineering, and guides the team’s work through all
stages of development.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion for driving positive changes in this space.
You have a proven track record of driving 0→1 product definition for consumer use, and are highly effective at organizing and prioritizing deliverables, managing timelines and communication, and ensuring program milestones are met.
This role is site-based in the California Bay Area.
Description
• Bring an informed product perspective and contribute to strategy definition, balancing science and technology with user needs and market demand
• Partner with clinicians and subject matter experts to distill health and wellness
concepts into clearly articulated product opportunities and requirements
• Own the prioritization and tracking of deliverables, manage timelines, maintain
reporting, and communicate progress and risks to various stakeholders
• Advocate for our function’s product priorities, negotiate trade-offs, and execute
implementation with cross-functional partners throughout the feature development process
• Facilitate internal, cross-functional, and executive reviews by owning slide development, coordinating meetings, capturing feedback, and driving action items
Key Qualifications
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in the field of consumer-facing digital product development
• A proven track record of driving features from concept to launch, with the ability to
craft compelling product proposals and apply a keen eye for user experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders, navigate conflict, and build consensus across teams
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with the willingness and ability to flex between tactical execution and strategic thinking throughout the day
• A self-starter who is both proactive and accountable, you can perform with minimal supervision and quickly unblock yourself when things are unclear
• Experience in health and wellness preferred, but not required
