Position: Clinical Payments Analyst, Req#: 19421-1

Client’s Title:Clinical Contracts Analyst

Location: Irvine, CA (100% onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire

 

Job Description:

The Clinical Contracts Analyst supports healthcare professional (HCP) payment processing and related administrative activities within a three-person team. This temporary assignment provides leave coverage and focuses on learning and managing the team’s payment processes. The anticipated ramp-up period is 30 to 60 days. Contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation are not core responsibilities; opportunities to learn contract-related work may be available based on interest and team needs.

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with at least 1 year of experience, OR a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience.

 

Preferred Background:

  • Familiarity with HCP payment reporting and Sunshine Act requirements is preferred; this knowledge can be taught.
  • Previous client experience is welcome. Candidates with extensive contracts experience should be comfortable with a role focused primarily on administrative payment processing.

 

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team with varied responsibilities.
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and confidence in asking questions during training and daily work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders across organizational levels and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Process HCP payments in accordance with established procedures, payment terms, and company requirements.
  • Track payment milestones and maintain accurate payment and compensation information for business unit tracking and reporting.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to resolve payment questions, clarify requirements, and confirm payments align with contract terms.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payment tracking, reporting, and administrative processes.
  • Manage assigned work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and ask questions or raise issues when clarification is needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and follow the client’s policies and procedures relevant to HCP payments.
