The Client Support role provides clerical and administrative support to the agency including greeting clients, accepting payments, answering and placing phone calls. Use existing systems to complete daily work activities as required and provide support to agency staff within the office environment.

How you will create impact: 

  • Act as primary telephone contact by receiving, redirecting callers and managing voicemail.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain customer, vendor, and operational information as required.
  • Process and validate vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage office supply requests for district offices across Canada.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing services, obtaining quotations, maintaining vendor accounts, coordinating service arrangements, and ensuring vendor records, contracts, and service information remain accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and trackers using Microsoft Lists and other Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Support process improvements, reporting activities, workflow management, and operational efficiencies using Microsoft 365 tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and district office staff to resolve operational issues and service requests.
  • Provide administrative and operational support through record maintenance, data management, document preparation, coordination activities, and other support functions as required.
  • Coordinate specific aspects of office openings, relocations, closures, and district office transitions.
  • Support special projects and additional operational initiatives as assigned.
  • Create and maintain district office websites and social media accounts.

To join our team:  

  • Administrative Assistant program or administrative experience is an asset.
  • General Insurance License may be required.
  • Customer service experience or related business experience is preferred.
  • This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.

Expected salary range $ 38,007.00 - $63,345.00.

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.​

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
