
Client Liaison Manager
Role Purpose
The Client Liaison Manager is the primary contact for Agri Technovation’s international PR and Marketing clients, managing day-to-day liaison and driving assigned PR, Marketing and Branding projects to completion. The role also supports South African projects as required. Clients refer to allocated international employees and teams, the Branding and Marketing department, and relevant external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
    Client Liaison & Project Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for allocated international clients across Africa, Latin America, New Zealand and Australia.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage client requests and ensure that requirements are clearly communicated to the relevant PR and Marketing team members.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks, proactively coordinating and following up with all relevant parties until completion.
- Monitor deadlines and project progress to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients regarding project progress, requirements and deliverables.
    Marketing & Branding
- Work closely with the Marketing team to support and drive assigned marketing and branding initiatives.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that tasks assigned to you are actively driven forward through proactive follow-up, coordination and communication until completion.
- Coordinate marketing and branding requirements for allocated clients.
- Conduct copy editing and quality checks on PR, Marketing and Branding materials requested by clients.
- Ensure that materials are accurate, professional and aligned with Agri Technovation’s brand standards.
    Digital Marketing
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to coordinate relevant cross-platform information, content and updates.
- Provide the Social Media Manager with relevant information from allocated international clients as required.
- Conduct regular website audits and identify errors, outdated information or required updates.
- Coordinate identified website updates and follow through until corrections have been implemented.
    Advertising & Media
- Regularly monitor relevant online and print media for Agri Technovation exposure.
- Keep abreast of current PR, Marketing and communication trends, platforms and tools.
- Build and maintain relevant media relationships, including journalists, industry representatives and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and drive advertising campaigns as determined by the PR and Marketing team.
- Ensure advertising requirements, deadlines, approvals and deliverables are effectively managed.
    Events
- Manage all aspects of events relating to the allocated client portfolio, including pre-event planning, on-site coordination where applicable, and post-event follow-up.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of relevant industry events by regularly engaging with associations, partners, affiliates and industry stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain the Events Calendar for allocated clients.
- Coordinate event logistics and ensure all arrangements are completed within the required timelines.
- Proactively contribute ideas to improve events and enhance the overall client and brand experience.
- Support and coordinate event marketing initiatives where required.
    Client Visits
- Manage all aspects of client visits relating to the allocated portfolio, including international clients visiting South Africa and Agri Technovation representatives visiting the relevant international countries.
- Develop and manage detailed itineraries and ensure that these are approved and communicated to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain the Client Visit Calendar for allocated clients.
- Coordinate all relevant travel, accommodation, activities and other logistical requirements where applicable.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the overall client visit experience.
    Sponsorships
- Manage sponsorship requests received from allocated clients.
- Coordinate approved sponsorship requirements and follow through until completion.
    Merchandise
- Coordinate the merchandise requirements of allocated clients.
- Coordinate merchandise requirements for new employees within the allocated international client portfolio.
- Liaise with relevant internal teams and suppliers to ensure merchandise requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
    Corporate Gifting
- Coordinate gifting requirements for allocated clients.
- Research and identify new, innovative and appropriate gifting ideas within allocated budgets.
- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of approved gifts and ensure requirements are completed within the required timelines.
    General PR & Marketing Support
- Provide support to the broader PR and Marketing team with South African and international projects as required.
- Collaborate effectively with PR, Marketing, Branding, Design, Social Media and other relevant internal teams.
- Maintain organised records, calendars and project information relating to allocated clients and responsibilities..

    Minimum Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field will be advantageous.
- 2-4 years' experience in marketing or a similar role.
- Experience in the agricultural industry will be advantageous.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite).
- English must be a first language, or candidates must have strong written and spoken English skills; Spanish will be advantageous.
