Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
Manage and execute the USP claim lifecycle across Maxis’s NADI and Major/Non-Major Contribution programmes. Coordinate end-to-end claim preparation, data analysis, and verification to ensure high standards of regulatory compliance and submission accuracy. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues to support optimal reimbursement outcomes and ensure timely submissions to MCMC.
.Portfolio Submission Leadership: Lead and oversee the end-to-end claim submission lifecycle for Major Contribution (monthly), NADI (quarterly and annually), and Non-Major Contribution (annually) portfolios, establishing submission timelines, managing resource allocation, and ensuring strict adherence to MCMC deadlines.
.Advanced Financial Validation & Escalation Management: Oversee complex SAP-based financial validation and variance analysis. Act as the primary escalation point for resolving critical discrepancies, expenditure eligibility issues, and complex exceptions, ensuring all financial data reconciles perfectly with supporting records.
.Compliance Framework Enforcement:Enforce rigorous compliance frameworks for all supporting documentation (DROs, invoices, payment vouchers, and official receipts), ensuring zero-defect alignment with MCMC regulatory requirements.
.Submission Quality Assurance: Review, approve, and take accountability for final claim summaries, invoice utilisation reports, and MCMC submission templates, ensuring transparent, highly accurate submissions that minimise rework and facilitate rapid processing.
.Documentation Governance: Manage the documentation governance strategy across Esker and internal repositories, institutionalising best practices for data extraction and compilation to ensure the portfolio remains fully substantiated and audit-ready at all times.
.Strategic Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner strategically with Finance and other cross-functional stakeholders to streamline tax invoice issuance and validation processes, driving SLA adherence, resolving systemic bottlenecks, and mitigating submission delays.
.Audit Defence & Verification Leadership: Lead Maxis’s representation in MCMC claim verification workshops. Defend claim validity, negotiate the resolution of audit findings, and formulate strategic responses to complex MCMC queries to secure successful approvals.
.Reimbursement Strategy & Tracking: Drive the claim collection and reimbursement strategy. Oversee status monitoring, proactively identify systemic bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to accelerate the receipt of claim proceeds.
.Governance & Risk Mitigation: Champion internal governance controls and compliance with MCMC requirements. Proactively identify compliance risks, implement preventative measures, and lead the preparation for rigorous internal and external audits.
.Process Optimisation & Automation: Design and implement process improvements and automation initiatives across the claims lifecycle to drive operational scalability, achieve "first-time-right" submissions, and accelerate collection cycles.
