A well-established full-service law firm in Kelowna is looking to add a Litigation Lawyer to its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with at least 3 years of litigation experience who is looking to continue building their advocacy skills and practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The firm has a strong flow of work across multiple practice areas and is looking for someone who enjoys managing files, appearing in court, and working closely with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation files from start to finish
• Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and settlement materials
• Conduct legal research
• Attend court appearances and mediations
• Advise clients on litigation strategy and dispute resolution
• Work collaboratively with senior counsel on more complex matters
• Build and grow your practice with internal referral support

Practice Areas

• Civil litigation
• Commercial litigation
• Family law litigation
• Estates litigation
• Construction and builders’ lien matters
• Administrative law matters

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Strong drafting and advocacy skills
• Courtroom experience preferred
• Experience in civil or commercial litigation preferred
• Family law or broader litigation backgrounds will also be considered
• Builders’ lien or construction litigation experience is an asset
• Strong organizational and client management skills
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia, or eligible to become licensed in BC

Compensation & Perks

• Salary range: $120,000-$150,000+ depending on experience
