Position: Lead Business Controller 

JOB PROFILE SUMMARY 

Acts as a business partner to the relevant business manager and leads local finance teams to optimize thefinancial performance within an assigned division / business area. Supports in effective business decisions bymonitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives and recommendthe most appropriate business solutions. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Contributes to the definition of strategy for the business unit. 

• Partners with relevant business leader in determining strategy for their area of responsibility and developingimplementation and monitoring plan. 

• Enables strategy translation into business plans and monitors measurable targets. 

• Drives business planning and forecasting process for their area of responsibility. 

• Leads cross-functional initiatives that support strategic goals. 

• Drives the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensurecontinuous improvement in financial control process within their area of responsibility. 

• Leads, provides guidance, and participates or facilitates best practices to ensure alignment and consistency ofcontrolling practices. 

• Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues forimprovement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for their area of responsibility. 

• Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. 

• Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. 

• Assesses business risk exposure and defines risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business 

performance. 

• Identifies and communicates financial risks and opportunities from business propositions. 

• Establishes and drives processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data andbusiness information. 

• Ensures high quality of financial data and business information, in line with defined standards and financialclosing schedules. 

Qualifications for the role 

• You are highly skilled in working with SAP FI & CO modules and the industrial market. 

You have 10+ years of experience in financial controlling, business controlling and / or management accounting. 

•Possess an enhanced knowledge of financial reporting/ financial analyses and creating properdash board tomanagement. 

•You are passionate about working in teams, leading organizational success, having the require discipline to applyorganizational policies and procedures. 

•Professional Degree in Accounting and Finance 

•You are at ease communicating in English.
