We are proud to be an active contributor in the circular economy through container deposit schemes (10c refund for eligible drink containers). We help our scheme partners to recycle close to 10 million drink containers every day, diverting them from landfill into the circular economy.

Our technology and services enable the circular lifecycle of drink containers. We have a large in-house software engineering team using modern technology stacks to develop and support our products. As well as a suite of SaaS products, our range of business services includes accounting, payments, brand & marketing, materials trading, HR, customer service and support.

CES was formed in 2017 as a joint venture between Lion and Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and has grown rapidly. We are headquartered in North Sydney, near public transport with beautiful harbour views. Our teams are passionate about our mission to ensure valuable materials are recycled and not wasted. About the role

We are seeking an organised, outcomes-focused Project Manager to lead the delivery of software product initiatives across CES. Working across product and engineering teams, you will translate product priorities into clear delivery plans, coordinate cross-functional delivery and keep initiatives aligned to customer needs, business outcomes, scope, time and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Software Delivery

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software initiatives, enhancements and releases from planning through implementation and transition to ongoing support.

• Partner with product managers and business stakeholders to clarify objectives, scope, outcomes, milestones and delivery priorities.

• Develop and maintain integrated delivery plans across product, design, engineering, data, operations and external partners.

• Coordinate dependencies, actions and deliverables across multiple teams and concurrent workstreams.

• Support release planning, testing, deployment, go-live readiness and post-launch review activities.

Governance, Risk & Reporting

• Maintain fit-for-purpose governance artefacts including delivery plans, RAID logs, decision and action registers, status reports and budget tracking where required.

• Monitor progress, delivery health, risks, issues and dependencies, and escalate early with clear options and recommendations.

• Prepare concise updates and dashboards for project forums, senior stakeholders and governance groups.

• Ensure project documentation is current, accessible and supports effective decision-making.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

• Build trusted relationships across product, technology, operations, customer-facing teams and leadership.

• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, stand-ups and project forums that drive decisions, ownership and momentum.

• Coordinate third-party vendors and delivery partners, tracking commitments and resolving delivery gaps.

• Support change, communication, training and business-readiness activities to enable successful adoption.

About you:

• 3-5 years experience delivering software products, technology projects or customer-facing platforms in a project management or delivery role.

• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional delivery involving product, design, engineering and business stakeholders.

• Strong planning and coordination capability, with hands-on experience managing scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues and stakeholder communications.

• Comfortable working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery approaches and adapting governance to the needs of the initiative.

• Clear, confident communicator who can turn complexity into practical actions and concise updates.

• Strong ownership, judgement and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.

• Experience supporting release, testing, change or operational-readiness activities for digital products.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SaaS, digital platforms, payments, customer portals, mobile applications or high-volume transactional products.

• Experience working with external vendors, systems integrators or distributed delivery teams.

• Exposure to Azure DevOps, Jira or similar delivery management tools.

• A recognised project management or Agile certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master or equivalent.
