Location: Leeds 

Start date: 6th September 2027  

Programme Duration: 2 to 2.5 years 

Salary: £29,000

What this job involves:   

Our graduate programme will provide you with first-hand experience while working towards a professional qualification, all within the dynamic environment of JLL'sLeedsoffice. 

You willjoin us on a 2-to-2.5-year trainee programme, working toward Commercial Chartered Surveyor statusby undertaking the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC)with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). OurLeedsoffice offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, ideal for your professional development. 

Anyone with a degree can join this programme, irrespective of discipline, as we arefocused on training you to becoming a qualified and well-rounded professional. If you do not have an RICS accredited Real Estate degree, you will complete a fully funded onlinemaster's degree (MSc) in Real Estatewith the University of the Built Environmentas part of the graduate programme. You will be fully supported by both JLL and the University throughout your academic journey.  

You willrotate around the business with a focus on commercial propertiessuch as office spaces,industrialunitsandretail stores.Possible rotations could includeCommercialValuation,Lease Advisory,OfficeAgency,Industrial Agency,Capital Markets,Rating,Property & Asset Management,Development Consultancy and Residential Valuation.

What your day-to-day will look like:  

You’ll get involved in real work from day one that will help clients achieve their ambitions. The work will vary depending on the team you are in but below are some of whatyou’ll experience: 

• You’ll research and keep up to date with relevant market insight and property legislation that mayimpact our work  

• You’ll learn how to use various property systems/databases so we can collect information that will help usdetermining the best solution for clients  

• You’ll build relationships across our business and clients to ensure we deliver a great service 

• You’ll work with your team to draft and deliver work that may involve a variety of work, such as service charge budgets, presentations to clients, and valuation reports. 

• You’ll visit properties to carry out inspections or conduct client viewings. 

• You’ll take part in regular training in business skills, technical knowledge, and professional development to support your growth

Required Skills and Experience:  

• Degree – predicted or achieved minimum 2:2 in any discipline 

• You’ll have a curious mindset so you can learn and grow with us 

• You’ll be passionate and eager to contribute your thoughts, create fresh ideas, and challenge yourself to do more than you think you could 

• You’ll have an interest in the property industry and how we can shape its future 

• You’ll be able to connect with others easily and build strong relationships  

Right to work in the UK: 

• You will need to have permanent right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visas, including Graduate Visas beyond the programme
