The Chief Growth officer will lead a team of individuals with primary business development responsibilities, while also conducting their own business development activities from deal identification, qualification, and capture to proposal development and submission. Duties include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development plan.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including qualifying deals through stage gates and identifying and implementing strategies leading to the submission of proposals with a high win probability.
- Engaging with and coaching our client's business development team to improve company-wide business development efforts and results.
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activity.
- Providing regular reports and updates on growth performance to other members of the executive team.
- Advising the executive team on enterprise booking targets and strategies to achieve them.
- Serving as a key member of the executive team and contributing to the overall direction and strategy of our client.
- Establishing and developing strategic relationships with other industry partners.
- 10+ years of executive-level business growth experience.
- Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and win revenue-generating contracts.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strategic mindset with ability to make difficult decisions.
- Ability to communicate, present to, and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including listening, negotiation, and presentation.
