Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-orientedChemistry Analyst to join our Regional Analytical Laboratory team. This position is responsible for performing chemical and physical analyses to support quality testing, product development, and scientific research.

The ideal candidate will have experience in analytical chemistry, laboratory testing, sample preparation, and operating specialized laboratory instrumentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the ability to deliver reliable test results within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, ingredients, pre-mixes, developmental products, and finished products.

• Prepare, collect, and test laboratory samples following established procedures and testing methods.

• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.

• Conduct nutritional and chemical testing using specialized analytical instrumentation.

• Accurately document testing procedures, observations, and results using Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN) and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

• Follow laboratory quality standards, safety procedures, and ISO 17025 guidelines.

• Assist with laboratory experiments, method development, and analytical testing projects.

• Perform routine equipment maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.

• Analyze test results, identify discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports.

• Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure accurate results and timely completion of testing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing chemical and physical analyses in a laboratory environment, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, or related industries.

• Advanced education may partially substitute for the required experience.

• Experience with analytical laboratory instrumentation and sample preparation techniques.

• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.

• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate: A Chemistry Analyst with hands-on analytical laboratory experience, strong instrumentation skills, and a background in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical testing environments.
