Changeman / RTC Admin:
1. Seeking an experienced Changeman/RTC Administrator with 8+ years of mainframe experience supporting USA onsite/offshore India delivery models.
2. Strong expertise in Changeman and/or IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC) administration, configuration, component management, promotion/release processes, and application lifecycle management.
3. Deep knowledge of Changeman/RTC components, packages/changesets, metadata, relationships, versions, dependencies, and source-code management for downstream processing and deployment.
4. Experience administering and supporting Changeman/RTC environments, including user/team configuration, project/component setup, access control, workflows, promotion paths, release management, and troubleshooting.
5. Experience developing or supporting processes to extract Changeman/RTC component and change information and generate structured JSON/files or other metadata formats for downstream Git-based or DevOps workflows.
6. Strong understanding of mainframe source management and promotion processes, including COBOL, JCL, Copybooks, DB2, CICS and other z/OS application components. Additional Skills Preferred (Not
Mandatory):
1. Experience with Git/GitHub, DevOps practices, branching, repositories, code migration, and source-code management.
2. Working knowledge of IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB) and integrating DBB with Changeman/RTC and Git-based mainframe development pipelines.
3. Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployments, and integration with mainframe DevOps toolchains. 4. Good hands-on knowledge of IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz), Zowe, JCL, COBOL, and z/OS development environments.
5. Experience integrating Changeman/RTC with deployment/automation tools such as UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) and implementing automated promotion/deployment workflows across environments.
6. Understanding of Changeman/RTC-to-Git modernization, API/CLI automation, metadata/JSON exchange, dependency management, troubleshooting, and enterprise DevOps integration.
7. Experience supporting Changeman to Git/RTC modernization or migration initiatives, including source extraction, metadata mapping, dependency analysis, and repository onboarding.
8. Strong understanding of change management, version control, release management, audit trails, approvals, and governance within enterprise mainframe environments.
