The Change/Release Manager (Level 1) is responsible for coordinating and managing low-to-medium complexity changes and releases within the IT environment. This role ensures that changes are implemented smoothly, releases are deployed successfully, and risks are minimized, following ITIL best practices.
- Manage the lifecycle of standard and normal changes under ITIL guidelines.
- Coordinate release activities for minor updates, patches, and small-scale deployments.
- Ensure compliance with organizational change and release policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of change requests, approvals, and release notes.
- Support higher-level Change/Release Managers in complex or high-risk initiatives.
- Communicate schedules, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.
- Monitor post-release performance and escalate issues when necessary.
Automation Tools & AIOps – Proficiency in Wipro automation accelerators and industry-standard platforms.
CI/CD & DevOps Knowledge – Strong understanding of release pipelines and automation frameworks.
Leadership & Communication – Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence strategic decisions.
