Job Description:

As the Supply Chain Technology & Site Leader for J&J Vision Japan & APAC, you will partner with JJV regional leaders in the Deliver and Finance functions to drive product strategy and execution, closely partnering with business to set functional and regional OKRs (Objectives & Keys Results). You will work with business partners and technology product groups, to strategically manage and prioritize demand.

Major Responsibilities:

• Align/prioritize business & IT regional strategies and co-shape strategic demand with the business thatbrings value with speed and isaligned with both Vision GOC & Segment imperatives
• Represent SCT on regional Vision Supply Chain Leadership Teams and be thetrusted partner of the APAC and Japan Deliver Leaders, for technology, data & process expertise
• Translate business vision/strategies and customer needs to product groups, empowering PGLs to innovate, design and deliver flexible/scalable solutions tomeet business / customer needs
• Unite multifacetedproductsinto cohesiveend-to-end digitalbusiness strategies and solutions
• Through deep understanding of business processes, driveinnovative solutionsthrough technology, data, process and automation for the franchise
• Define and activelymeasure the value being created and delivered to customers / users / partners (e.g., define, refine and measure OKRs on a regular cadence)
• Maintain apulse on performance metrics to focus on business value realization and pull-through, including end user/customer critical metrics, product group performance, technical performance (e.g., available / up time), product maturity and revenue/market growth
• Support the Global Vision SC Technology Leader and the Product Group Leader of Supply Chain on selected initiatives and any financial planning cycles (e.g., BP, LRFP)

Qualifications

• 10+ years preferred of proven experience in leading supply chain or technical IT teams, especially in a cross-functional environment
• 5+ years of leadership experience driving regional business strategy and process harmonization opportunities at the Enterprise, Segment or franchise levels
• 2+ years of Supply Chain Domain experience in global, medical device businesses is required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written) in both Japanese and English, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
• Improves organizational performance through the application of original thinking to existing and emerging methods, processes, products and services. Employs good judgment in leading innovations to produce valuable outcomes.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, collaborative and team-building skills. Ability to influence adoption of new thinking
• Able to handle ambiguity and opposing priorities. Help teams prioritize and focus.
• 20% business travel may be necessary.  Preferred location is Tokyo, Japan.
