Electrician

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations for residential and

commercial solar PV systems, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and associated

electrical works. You will work alongside our roofing and installation teams to deliver

projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission Solar PV systems.

• Install and commission hybrid inverters and battery storage systems.

• Carry out consumer unit upgrades, RCBO installations, isolators and

associated electrical works.

• Complete testing, inspection and certification in accordance with current

regulations.

• Diagnose and fault-find on existing solar PV and battery systems.

• Read and work from electrical drawings and system designs.

• Ensure all work complies with Safe Electric standards and current wiring

regulations.

• Maintain excellent health and safety standards on every site.

• Complete all required paperwork and commissioning documentation.

• Deliver a professional service and communicate well with customers.

• Work closely with the installation and operations teams to ensure projects are

completed on schedule

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical certification.

• Safe Electric Registered (or eligible to become registered).

• Experience installing Solar PV systems, hybrid inverters and battery storage is

highly desirable.

• Experience with leading inverter manufacturers such as GoodWe, SAJ, Solis or

similar is an advantage.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Full clean Category B driving licence.
