KeyResponsibilities
- Evaluateresidentsanddevelopindividualizedoccupationaltherapytreatmentplans.
- Deliverskilledoccupationaltherapyservicesinaccordancewithphysicianordersandestablishedplansofcare.
- SuperviseCertifiedOccupationalTherapyAssistants(COTAs)incompliancewithCaliforniaregulations.
- Collaboratewithphysicians,nursingstaff,rehabilitationprofessionals,residents,andfamiliestomaximizeoutcomes.
- Participateininterdisciplinarycareconferencesanddischargeplanningmeetings.
- Completetimelyandaccuratedocumentation,includingevaluations,treatmentnotes,progressreports,recertifications,anddischargesummaries.
- Educateresidentsandcaregiversonadaptiveequipment,safetystrategies,homeprograms,andtechniquestomaximizeindependence.
- Recommendandcoordinatedurablemedicalequipment(DME)asneeded.
- Helpmaintainasafe,organized,andefficienttherapyenvironment.
Qualifications
- CurrentCaliforniaOccupationalTherapist(OTR)licenseingoodstanding.
- Strongcommunication,organizational,andteamworkskills.
- Commitmenttoprovidingcompassionate,resident-centeredcare.
- Newgraduatesareencouragedtoapply.
