- AWS Certified – AWS Solutions Architect (Professional level preferred).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform.
- DevOps and CI/CD implementation experience.
- Strong understanding of core cloud/infrastructure foundational concepts, including virtualization, compute, storage (e.g., FSx ONTAP), data services, and other AWS cloud services.
- Security concepts: Firewalls, Security Groups, IAM Personas, IPS/IDS, F5, traffic routing, load balancing, CDN, CloudFront, API Gateways.
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn with strong critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of security compliance standards, controls, and best practices.
Essential Skills:
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate certification required; Professional certification preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of core AWS services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Ability to provide implementation guidance based on the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including Application, Enterprise Architecture, Security, DevOps, Observability, Disaster Recovery, Reliability Engineering, and Database teams.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate required; Professional preferred).
- Solid understanding of core AWS services.
- Proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
- Experience providing architectural guidance using the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Ability to collaborate with various teams across the organization.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
