Job Description:
- Room patients and obtain focused musculoskeletal histories.
- Assist the physician with musculoskeletal examinations and clinical assessments.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided injections, procedures, and other in-office treatments.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, rehabilitation, home exercises, activity modifications, and injury prevention.
- Apply braces, splints, taping, and other durable medical equipment (DME) as appropriate.
- Assist with rehabilitation activities and therapeutic exercise instruction.
- Coordinate imaging, physical therapy, referrals, and follow-up care.
- Support patient flow, room turnover, and daily clinic operations.
- Assist with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and clinical administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the physician and clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient workflows.
- Support community outreach, sports coverage, and injury prevention programs as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training.
- Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) credential required.
- New York State Athletic Trainer license required, or eligibility for NYS licensure.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, clinical examination, rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise.
Location:Lake Success, NY 11042
Schedule: 40 hours/week - Monday – Friday 8AM – 4PM
Job Type: Contract
Pay Rate:$40 – $44/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
