The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking energetic, safety-focused team members to help launch and operate our brand-new Sky Trail® ropes course and pavilion. This is more than a seasonal job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a premier adventure attraction designed to build confidence, create unforgettable memories, and serve families from across our region. As a Sky Trail Event Staff you will play a critical role in delivering an experience that is thrilling, welcoming, and above all, safe.Â
In this role, you will support the YMCA mission by creating a safe, welcoming, and efficient experience at Sky Trail® events and parties! Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, you will:Â
- Assist with food service, guest transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized facilityÂ
- Assist with event and party set up, take down and guest experience
- Help prepare and serve food items while following all health and safety guidelines, as well as wash and sanitize dishes, equipment, and work areasÂ
- Process transactions and ticketing, ensure waivers are completed before issuing wristbands, and provide friendly, professional service to all guestsÂ
- Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is used properly and maintained in good conditionÂ
This is a guest-facing role requiring friendly, attentive service while accommodating needs such as allergies and dietary restrictions. Qualifications:Â
- At least 16 years of ageÂ
- Meets Sky Trail health and physical requirementsÂ
- Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilitiesÂ
- Food Handlers CertificationÂ
- Adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment including weekends and non-business hour workdaysÂ
- Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operationsÂ
- Must be able to pass background and drug screeningÂ
Pay Rate:Â $14.00-$17.00/hourÂ
