Fall River, MA — drivers start and end each shift at the yard at485 Commerce Drive. The operation supports a distribution facility in Westfield, MA, with shuttle runs to relay yards in Milford and West Haven, CT.

Pay Details

• Average Annual Pay: $70,000
• Average Weekly Pay: $1,350
• Mileage Pay: $0.50–$0.54 per mile

Job Details

• Dedicated frozen-grocery shuttle operation
• Reefer trailers with no-touch, drop-and-hook freight
• Shuttle frozen grocery loads between Westfield, MA, and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT
• Minimum3 shuttles per day, with approximately 5–10 possible depending on the destination
• May assist with store transfers, trailer moves, local backhauls, supermarket deliveries, or other account needs
• Store deliveries may involve 2–3 stops per trailer, electric pallet-jack unloading, and return-product or backhaul pickups
• No deliveries in New York City
• Automatic trucks; drivers should expect to slip-seat
• Trucks cannot be taken home

Shift Details

• Home daily
• Available schedules:Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Thursday
• Drivers must be willing to work either schedule
• Start times between3:00 PM and 4:00 PM
• Sixth-day work may be required for three consecutive weeks around holiday periods
• Holiday work is required when scheduled unless the account is closed
• Thanksgiving and Christmas are listed as days off; New Year's Day off is not guaranteed

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Reliable transportation to and from the Fall River yard
• Must be able to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor and trailer tires
• Must operate safely and legally and demonstrate good customer-service skills
• Must be flexible to assist with store deliveries and other account work when needed
