IT Operations Specialist

Interested in joining one of Canada’s top performing asset managers?  We are looking for an enthusiasticIT Operations Specialist to join our IS team. This role will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to local and remote users, contribute to documentation and knowledge management, and support ongoing IS initiatives. The successful candidate will be service-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do 

• Resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support issues related to end-user devices, applications, and connectivity, escalating where appropriate.
• Provide remote and in-person support to end users.
• Coordinate with end users to provide timely updates and resolution of technical issues.
• Follow standardized operating procedures and support processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
• Develop user training materials where required.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and end-user experience.
• Participate in team activities and contribute to continuous service improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Support IS projects and initiatives as required.
• Work from the assigned office and provide flexible coverage when required.

What You Bring  

• 2–3 years of relevant Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Intune, and Windows.
• Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive administration.
• Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience creating technical and knowledge documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess issues by impact and severity and determine appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Strong attention to detail and incident documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Microsoft/Azure certifications are an asset.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices is an asset.

The expected base salary range for this position is $48,000 – $60,000. The midpointrepresents our general market target for a fully qualified and experienced individual performing the role. Actual starting salary may fall below or above the midpoint depending on the candidate's relevant experience,skills and qualifications, as well as internal equity considerations. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
