Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, established through a partnership withKing's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is looking for an outstandingTeacher of Primary Art to join our schoolas soon as possible.

You will create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that introduce Primary students to a broad range ofmaterials, techniques and artistic ideas, encouraging them to explore their creativity while building strong foundations in visual art.

Beyond the classroom, you will have opportunities todevelop projects, celebrate student work through exhibitions and displays, and contribute your own ideas to the school's busy creative and co-curricular programme.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriatePrimary Art lessons

• Develop students' skills and confidence across a range ofmaterials, techniques and creative processes

• Encourage students toexperiment, take creative risks and develop their own ideas

• Plan and contribute tostudent exhibitions, displays and creative projects

• Lead or supportArt clubs, workshops and co-curricular activities

• Contribute to the widercreative, pastoral and community life of the school

What We’re Looking For

• Degree inFine Art, Art & Design, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a closely related field

• Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such asUK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential

• At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience

• Experience teachingArt / Visual Arts at Primary School level

• Strong understanding ofage-appropriate creative and artistic development

• Experience teaching within aninternational, bilingual, British or comparable Primary curriculum

• Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements

• Able to join the schoolas soon as possible
