Compensation
Pay Range:$60,000-$65,000 Per Year

Description
Join our team as a CASAC Counselor in a substance use disorder treatment program located in Long Island City, NY. 
This full-time position requires a dedicated professional to provide counseling services under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor. 
The role involves working normal business hours with rotating Saturdays.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Full CASAC in good standing
Minimum 1 year of experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment program

Qualifications
Ability to conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions
Experience in preparing, monitoring, and reviewing treatment/recovery plans
Proficiency in facilitating community meetings and daily living activities
Skilled in teaching coping skills for urges, cravings, and cognitive distortions
Capable of supporting patients' skill development in social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral areas
Experience in supervising milieu staff and activities
Strong record-keeping and case management skills
