Compensation
Pay Range:$60,000-$65,000 Per Year

Description
Seeking a CASAC Counselor for a full-time position in a residential substance use disorder treatment program located in Wainscott, NY. 
The role involves working under a Clinical Supervisor to provide counseling services to residents. 
The schedule includes regular business hours from Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays. 
Candidates with CASAC-T are encouraged to apply and can earn hours towards full CASAC certification while working.

Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
CASAC or CASAC-T certification in good standing
Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment setting

Qualifications
Experience in individual, group, and family counseling
Ability to facilitate community meetings and daily living activities
Proficiency in teaching coping skills using motivational interviewing
Experience in supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and behavioral skill development
Capability to supervise milieu staff and activities
Experience in preparing and maintaining case records
