Intern - Manufacturing

As a Manufacturing Intern, you will besupporting manufacturing activities and continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Lean activities, data collection and analysis, process improvement, documentation, and training material preparation. You will be given the opportunity to work closely with Manufacturing engineers, supervisors, and team members to support improvement projects, monitor implementation, and follow up on action items. You will also be expected to assist with other operational activities and improvement tasks as assigned.

What you will do

• Process improvement / project support

• Data collection, analysis and reporting

• 5S and Lean improvement activities

• Documentation and training/visual material preparation

• Adhoc Manufacturing support activities.

What you bring

• Currently an undergraduate in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Data Analytics, or related fields

• Preferably a good understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, 5S, and data analysis

• Good analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing environment

• Previous internship, project, or academic experience related to manufacturing, Lean/5S, process improvement, data collection/analysis, or continuous improvement will be an advantage.
