Your Role

Reporting to senior management, you will serve as a strategic advisor to internal business teams and play an active role in legal matters related to the management and growth of the organization's real estate portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted legal partner to business teams and senior leadership.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial and real estate agreements.

• Support real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing activities.

• Provide strategic advice on contractual, regulatory, and compliance matters.

• Manage certain litigation files and collaborate with external legal counsel.

• Conduct legal research and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.

• Assist with corporate governance matters and the maintenance of legal documentation.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal department processes, tools, and templates.

   

Qualifications

• Member in good standing of theQuebec Bar.

• Relevant experience in real estate and commercial law.

• Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and files in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-starter with strong business acumen and sound judgment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across various stakeholder groups.
